Hearts & Haunts is a quick-play roleplaying game, based on John Harper's popular and eminently hackable Lasers & Feelings.

Number of Players: 3–6 (one Gamemaster [GM])
Age of Players: 10+ to 18+ (depends on the tone agreed during set-up)
Length: 2–4 hours per game session (15–30 minutes for set-up)
Materials Required: A standard six-sided die (or a dice-rolling app), paper to print the instructions (or a document viewer app), scratch paper and pencil (or a notes app).
Optional Materials: note cards, a virtual tabletop, three six-sided dice per non-GM player.
