Study and Bewitchment

This is a magic system based on the planning and engagement mechanics from Blades in the Dark by John Harper.

To cast a spell, you specify the type of magic (elemental, life, glamer, farstep, divination, or wards) and provide a missing detail representing your study and preparation. Then you consider any major advantages or disadvantages, and roll to see how well the magic works and whether it creates any trouble for you.
